Following the passage of a referendum approving riverboat gaming by the citizens of Washington County, Iowa in August of 2004, Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, LLC was granted an operator’s license for a casino in Washington County by the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission in May of 2005.
Riverside Casino and Golf Resort, LLC is owned 43.5% by Catfish Bend Casino Riverside, LLC; 6.5% by Kehl Management and 50% by 365 Iowa residents.
Catfish Bend Casino Riverside, LLC is owned 51% by Kehl Development and 49% by 490 Iowa residents.
The gaming license for Riverside Casino and Golf Resort is held by the Washington County Casino Foundation.
