Compliance Analyst

Under the direction of the Internal Audit Manager, performs daily, weekly, and monthly reviews of departmental procedures and internal controls to ensure compliance with all regulatory agencies, as well as normal business practices.  Candidate must be reliable and possess excellent communication and problem solving skills.  Compliance Analysts are expected to adhere to ethical standards of professional conduct and act in a manner consistent with the organization’s code of business ethics including but not limited to maintaining confidentiality, excellence, integrity, respect, responsibility, and trustworthiness. Compliance Analysts must be self-starting, analytical thinkers.

Essential Functions:

  • Review the implementation and efficiency of quality and control processes.
  • Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements in both gaming and non-gaming departments with continuous monitoring and reporting.
  • Perform routine quality assurance procedures by collecting and analyzing data.
  • Interpret information from reporting systems and utilize data to discover areas of possible operational deficiency.
  • Document standard deficiencies through written, verbal, photographic and/or video methods.
  • Complete quality and compliance audit work papers and memorandums by documenting all audit tests and findings.
  • Investigate causes of noncompliance.
  • Prepare reports outlining all deficiencies and any deviation from the company standards.
  • Complete follow up reviews to ensure all previously found deficiencies are resolved.
  • Meets with middle and upper management to determine application requirements and follows through after implementation to determine areas of concern and to identify workflows/system improvements.
  • Review changes to policies and procedures to ensure adequate controls and segregation of duties.
  • Documents systems for end-users; user reference materials and training aids.
  • Create internal compliance checklists for departments.
  • Review department scorecards for operational efficiency.
  • Assist Internal Audit in gathering and communication of key data.
  • May be required to assist with other quality job functions and/or other departmental areas as directed by management.


  • Extensive knowledge and skill gained through broad experiences in a field (or fields) which requires a command of involved, diverse practices and precedents and theory and principles. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
