Bartender/Executive Wine Steward

Summary:

Oversee all aspects of the wine program for Ruthie's, our high-end fine dining outlet, under the guidance of the outlet manager. Up to $10.50/hr + high tip potential.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop new specialty drinks and martinis.
  • Order all wine and wine supplies for the outlet.
  • Maintain working relationships with wine representatives to insure the opportunity to purchase outstanding new releases and to procure our share of winery limited releases.
  • Maintain table tops showing wine and drink specials.
  • Compile monthly inventory to include all wine and spirits in Ruthie's, golf canned beer, golf mini liquors, all beverages in the pro shop, snack shack and golf beverage carts.
  • Conduct regular, general wine education pre-shifts for service staff to include information on specific wines offered in the outlet.
  • Train all staff in wine service and new relief bartenders as needed.

Required:

  • Have working knowledge of beer, wine and liquor and common drink recipes.
  • Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register.
  • Be able to work in standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours)
  • Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.

Schedule:

Full-Time to inlcude: Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays

Salary:

Up to $10.50 an hour + tips
