Things started to look up for Lucas when he got a call from Warner Brothers to tell him that they would feature his song, 'If I Only Could' on their hit show 'Smallville.' "I was really excited to get the call from Warner Brothers. I watched the show all the time, it was one of my favourites, so to have my song in Season 5 was surreal."
This Valentines "Salute to the Troops" Concert is made possible in large part by national nonprofit organization Help Hospitalized Veterans (HHV.) HHV is sponsoring the Lucas Hoge show along with the Riverside Hotel and Casino. HHV was also a sponsor for Lucas's recent trip to Afghanistan where he visited with and performed for soldiers in remote forward operating bases. HHV is the largest provider of free therapeutic arts and craft kits to hospitalize and homebound veterans and since 1971, they have donated over 27,000,000 craft kits to veterans. They are also the national sponsor of the Valentines for Veterans Concert Series held min cities throughout the country.
